Krista Miller is an experienced leader with a career in municipal management, entrepreneurship, and community development. As city administrator for the city of Mitchell, Krista Miller managed a $3 million municipal budget, secured significant grant funding, and recovered critical infrastructure projects that had previously been at risk. She also developed strategic plans, strengthened governance practices, and worked closely with local leadership to align financial decisions with community priorities.

Between 2024 and 2025, Ms. Miller served as city manager for the City of Lakeside. She stepped into a challenging environment where operations had broken down, and resources were limited.
